Freeman loved his teammates, the coaches, and especially the fans. It stands to reason that many who cheer on the Braves are also routinely checking in on how the Dodgers first baseman is performing.
Freeman has been at a different level this year with the Dodgers. After Sunday’s game, he’s now batting .325 on the season. It definitely helps to be in a lineup with other stars. As good as many of his Braves teams were, none quite compare to the Dodgers this year.
