A commentator sounds like he let an NSFW reaction slip when Chicago White Sox outfielder Gavin Sheets committed an error on May 9 against the Cleveland Guardians.

Sometimes in an MLB game, there is a play that you can not believe just happened right before your eyes.

During the May 9 game between the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians, Owen Miller hit a ball to right fielder Gavin Sheets in what should have been an easy out. Instead, the baseball popped out of Sheets’ glove. As if the error was not bad enough, Steven Kwan scored on the play, allowing Cleveland to take a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning.

Did the Guardians broadcaster swear during the broadcast?

When hearing the call, some believed that Guardians commentator Rick Manning said, “are you sHHHHHI* me?” But, when listening to the call closely, it does sound like Manning says “kidding me overlayed with his broadcast partner starting to say Sheets.

Others are convinced there was a curse word said on the broadcast.

Things were not all bad for Sheets. In fact, he totally redeemed himself in the bottom of the inning!. With two runners on base and the game tied 1-1, Sheets sent an 85.8-mph slider from Zach Plesac over the right field fence to extend Chicago’s lead to 4-1.

There is no better way to make up for an error that should have been an easy out than by hitting a three-run homer to break a tie against a division rival.
