This Giants walk-off from Austin Slater and call from broadcaster Mike Krukow is a thing of perfection.

What a way to celebrate San Francisco Giants opening day.

At the bottom of the tenth inning with a runner on first and two out Austin Slater stepped up to the plate and secured a walk-off win for the team with a massive hit down the left-field line for the walk-off.

The Giants won 6-5 as Darin Ruf beat the throw home.

The walk-off was certainly a thrill but credit is due to Mike Krukow for bringing that moment to life.

It doesn’t get much better than listening to Krukow shout, “Ruf is on the move! Ruf is on the move! They’re gonna wave him in! Ruf is on the moooove and this game is over!”

San Francisco couldn’t have scripted a more exciting way for their first game of 2022 to end.

Brandon Belt had himself a game after entering the ballpark in a boat and captain’s hat then throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

Belt hit a home run and went 2-for-4 with an RBI, walk and one strikeout.

Catcher Joey Bart hit his first major league home run to round out the festivities.
